GA Engineers, Inc. has an opening for an Engineering Intern in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will have experience working on municipal or ODOT roadway/highway transportation projects, or private development. The individual will serve as an Intern with plan production. This position offers promotion opportunities and the opportunity for long-term, full time position with the company.
Candidate will be involved in drafting, analysis, project development and layout plans for parking lots, drainage, subdivisions, and utilities, flood control structures for public and private projects. It’s important that candidate possess the willingness to strive to obtain the required skills necessary to assist Engineers with plan production. Candidate’s work will be performed under direction of a Professional Engineer.

Qualification Requirements:
- 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Ability to perform basic geometric and trigonometric calculations
- Experience using Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel and Word) Software
- Experience in Bentley Software (i.e., InRoads and MicroStation) preferred
- Experience in design and drafting in infrastructure and site design
- Able to prepare clear, complete, and accurate working layouts, details, and construction drawings for bidding and construction purposes
- Able to develop engineering cost estimates and project quantities
- Meet and understand deadlines through time management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated self starter that thrives in a team environment
- Organizes projects information including drawing files and calculations in an orderly and consistent manner
