CGA Engineers teamed with ONE Architecture, LLC as the civil consultant to design and prepare plans for the Eufaula Indian Health Center for the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. The 24.8 acre site is located on Hospital Road in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Hospital Road is a frontage road along Highway 69. Initially 8.6 acres of the 24.8 acre site is being developed for the Health Center. The tasks included grading, drainage, utilities, surfacing, erosion control stormwater management, and LEED design.
Utilities included extending water, electrical, gas, and telecommunication lines into and adjacent to the property.
The site is adjacent to Lake Eufaula, which is an U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers (USACE) lake. Coordination was required with the USACE to ensure best management practices from stormwater runoff are used and to determine the maximum probable elevation of the lake.
The site was graded to allow a depressed loading dock to the main building to drain through a gravity storm sewer.
