This project consisted of providing professional engineering services for street maintenance/rehabilitation for Maintenance Zone 8103A: Quail Creek Subdivision. Services included collecting and quantifying field data for street maintenance, upgrading stormwater inlets with additional stormwater improvements, prepare plans and specification for repairs, and reconstruction of facilities including sidewalks and driveways.
The determination of reconstruction or rehabilitation was made after extensive pavement inspection performed on site. Due to the extent of the deterioration in the area a majority of the streets required total reconstruction. The remaining streets that received patches were subgrade failures were identified. Likewise, an inspection of sidewalks and the portion of driveways within the right of way to determine repair needs. Finally, the stormwater system was evaluated and repairs were made where needed. The stormwater repairs and improvements included replacement of inlets, replacement of grates and additions to the system to elevate localized flooding. Major Items Included:
